Leveling PvP will be a mess and SL PvP will be a mess. There's no way to test how much XP battlegrounds give on PTR, and considering how much they've ignored PvP it's going to be a mess. Given how much leveling has been greatly sped up I'm willing to lose a small XP buff. I mean why make it a useless stat when they can just.remove the gem from existence.#deletecode Comment by Torsoboy on T09:49:55-05:00Įh, not surprising. Sure it's supposedly faster in SL, but I'd still rather be at endgame asap. Man they keep removing all the QOL items for ppl who like to just experience endgame pvp/raiding and aren't fond of the leveling experience. ![]() Either a higher percent, or let it have your speed rating count for swimming. 5% isn't a lot though, considering how slow most characters start. Run gem will be a priority over this, but if you have a second socket for utility, this is fine. Swim speed's not necessary, but it's better than if the gem were disabled. The gem change is expected and reasonable. It's to make up for the time risked being ganked, fighting, or hiding. Comment by Incandio on T09:26:53-05:00Ĭool, a gem that gives you a buff you won't even notice. Would make sense that the first few days of SL will be a lot slower to level up because of all the alliance and horde players getting mixed together in the zones.Īlso, calling XP buff a PvE reward is kind of ridiculous. As a result 110-120 you never saw level-appropriate players of the other faction anywhere and during the first day or two of BFA you couldn't be ganked anyways because all the opposing players were still leveling up. The reason why it may have seemed kind of pointless during BFA is because alliance and horde leveled up in their own islands. The xp buff then tries to balance this out so that both players with warmode on and off would take about the same amount of time to level up to cap. Warmode xp buff is there because the WPvP will likely slow your leveling process down, be it from intermittent WPvP or getting ganked occasionally. So how about that 10-30% xp buff on Warmode that has never made sense, as a PvE reward on a PvP system. **EDITED: Corrected a statement that misunderstood the quoted user *** Comment by tronkles on T09:24:53-05:00 I am not sure the 5% bonus really gives you an advantage in the new leveling system. The leveling experience is so simplified now and you can get to 50 a lot quicker than you can to 110 with all the XP bonuses on live. You've crossed the line.Īlthough I understand your position that on principle these changes feel like Blizzard is trolling the users, I feel that of all the changes this will affect our gameplay the least. Comment by Einfachheit on T09:24:00-05:00īut this? This is a crafted item that literally anyone can buy or have made for them or learn how to make themselves. unless you are living under a rock, only listen to news that feeds your own opinions, and don't pay attention to the actual game Comment by tehdimmy on T09:18:45-05:00 I understood - didn't agree, but understood - the argument that removing XP from heirlooms was necessary to keep new players from feeling like they were automatically disadvantaged compared to older players.īut this? This is a crafted item that literally anyone can buy or have made for them or learn how to make themselves. I'm actually really, really upset at the lengths to which Blizzard is going to remove +XP buffs. well, that's a buff I never wanted or needed. 5% swim speed? Damn they better nerf it before it goes live or it's gonna be way too strong.
